Join Jenny and IFS Lead Trainer Fran Booth for a three night retreat at OQ Farm, a 500-acre legacy farm in beautiful Vermont. The retreat is designed for anyone interested in connecting with the landscape of the body as a tool for healing and integration. Jenny and Fran have studied and taught for decades in somatic systems, including Somatic IFS, WaveWork, Hakomi, Yoga, Tantric Buddhism, and more. Participants will be led through numerous somatic experiences each day with an emphasis on parts work. Practices include gentle movement, guided meditation, parts inquiry, interpersonal dialogue and more. Familiarity with IFS is required.

This will be an in-person, off-line retreat. To help foster deepening, we ask that all participants refrain from phones, computers, smart watches, etc. during the retreat. Prices include all lodging and meals. The retreat is limited to 20 participants.

Embodiment for IFS Providers On-line Consult Group Meets for 6 Wednesdays 6-7:30pm EST Starting September 4th, 2024 Limited to 8 Students $300

Working with the body is a crucial component to understanding our systems and the systems of our clients. The body holds our parts, memories, legacies, burdens, protective tension patterns, Self energy, and the ability to resonate with another. Having access to the body deepens the IFS session and helps move through what is needed in an embodied way. When practitioners have access to their own body during sessions they can better navigate the field of Self energy. When clients have access to their body they can report real time information that enhances access to healing.

Each week we will practice an embodiment technique, hear a short didactic on using the technique in sessions and make space for discussion and case consult. The primary focus of the series is to deepen the providers access to their own somatic system.

Personal Retreat Development and Support

Meditative traditions have a long history of retreat to support personal and spiritual growth. Personal retreat is an opportunity to remove ourselves from our everyday responsibilities to make space for intensive practice. Done alone, retreaters follow an established retreat schedule, live free of technology and outside world communication and have the freedom to pick when and where they will retreat. Jenny offers guidance along the retreat journey. Her offerings include: establishing the retreat container, on-line daily meditation practices, on-line daily personal support and follow up interviews for integration. These retreats offer catered, personal support that is different from group retreats. Prior meditation retreat experience highly recommended.

One of the most special things about Jenny as a teacher is her vast understanding of the yoga system. While her knowledge of asana is deeply sophisticated, it is her experience with meditation, pranayama and mindfulness practice that leave me so inspired after studying with her. I have taken her classes for years and been lead on retreat by Jenny and truly value the way she guides her students towards peace, not just within ourselves but with the world around us.
