Introduction to Meditation

6 week series on Wednesdays, January 9 - February 13, 2019 Wednesdays from 6:00-7:15pm

Cost: $110      Location: 8 Limbs Yoga Centers Capitol Hill

This series offers a basic look at meditation including; comfort, concentration, breath and mindfulness techniques. We will address questions and difficulties that arise from our practice and offer simple solutions so that meditation is practical and accessible to everyone. Students will complete the series with a solid foundation in meditation and techniques they can continue to use on their own.

Embodied Relationships

6 week series on Mondays from 7:15-8:30pm, February 25 - April 1, 2019

Cost: $300 per couple             

Easeful and intimate connection with others is vital to our health.  This series is for relationships of any kind: partners, friends, parent/child, co-workers, siblings, who wish to deepen their connection with each other. Grounded in loving presence, class offers various exercises to investigate, nurture and potentially heal our relationship to intimacy. No experience necessary. Please be comfortable offering gentle touch to your partner.

The Sacred Body with Jenny and Kate Bradfield

Weekend workshop June 8-9, 2019. Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm at The Lodge at Camp Long, West Seattle

The body is our own most direct and spiritual path for transformation on all levels of our being. Body-based meditative practices re-align our relationship with our physical, mental and emotional core that opens the door to connection with our highest Self. This weekend workshop uses mindful movement, breathing exercises, meditation and relational mindfulness to practice engaging with our bodies from a place of reverence. When we can practice open-hearted awareness in an embodied way, we meet life with a renewed confidence and clarity. This workshop is open to all levels of practice and will include seated meditations for up to 30 minutes.
