Jenny's weekly asana (movement) classes marry a gentle flowing practice with deep concentration and steadiness of body and mind. She empowers the body to be strong and alert in order to steady the nervous system for life's inevitable challenges. With extensive knowledge in anatomy and over 20 years of asana experience, Jenny is able to work with a wide variety of practitioners and offer a safe, clear and supportive environment. She encourages her students to bring an openness of self inquiry and self compassion to their practice.

I have been taking classes with Jenny for eight years (and counting). Even in a large class she is able to use her extensive knowledge of Yoga and anatomy to suggest adjustments to students based on their own limitations and possibilities. She promotes the practice of Yoga in a way that will enhance her students’ well being rather than their achievement of standards or goals. Jenny maintains a “beginner’s mind” and continuously expands her knowledge of all aspects of Yoga. She shares that knowledge with a focus on the students’ learning experience rather than on her own knowledge whether she is teaching Asana, Pranayama, meditation or the Yoga Sutras.
